The Butte Central Catholic Maroons basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting East Helena Vigilantes to 41 in the Maroons non-league victory on Saturday.

The Maroons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fergus for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Butte Central Catholic will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 64-50 non-league loss to Lockwood (Billings, MT). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

The Vigilantes (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Browning (Browning, MT). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
