Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS), 69-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Caledonia upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to West Lowndes (Columbus, MS) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 6-2. West Lowndes lost 76-69 in their recent non-league bout against Calhoun City (Calhoun City, MS)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Walnut will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 53-44 non-league loss to Corinth (Corinth, MS).
