Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cedar Valley Christian Huskies (Cedar Rapids, IA), 61-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clayton-Ridge upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Kee (Lansing, IA) to play the Kee Hawks in a Upper Iowa bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Kee Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Kee won 59-57 in their recent league bout against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA)

Next up, the Huskies play the Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Cedar Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 70-29 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, IA).
