Springville Orioles (Springville, IA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Central Warriors (Elkader, IA), 63-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Springville upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Orioles travel to Central City (Central City, IA) to play the Wildcats in a Tri-Rivers bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Central City won 49-44 in their recent league bout against Starmont (Arlington, IA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Maquoketa Valley Wildcats (Delhi, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 55-48 league win over East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA).
