The Cloverleaf Colts (Lodi, OH) basketball nipped the host Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH), 64-58 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Colts (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Ravenna (Ravenna, OH). The Ravens go into the Metro test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Ravenna got by Newton Falls (Newton Falls, OH), 45-39, in a non-league test.
The Chipps now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Norwayne for a Wayne County test on Friday, December 8. Chippewa will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 57-40 non-league win over Orrville (Orrville, OH). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-0.
