With the victory, East St. Louis improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Flyers host Alton (Alton, IL) to confront the Redbirds in a Southwestern challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Redbirds come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Alton lost 76-61 in their recent league challenge against Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL) in a Big Twelve challenge, on Friday, December 8. Urbana will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 62-60 non-league loss to Pekin (Pekin, IL).
