Elgin Wildcats (Elgin, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Gonzales Apaches (Gonzales, TX), 75-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Elgin upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX) to clash with the Rangers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Vista Ridge lost 58-43 in their recent non-league bout against Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX)

Next up, the Apaches clash with the Hallettsville Brahmas (Hallettsville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Gonzales will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Brahmas go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 47-46 non-league loss to Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX).
