Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) and the host Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), saw Sandburg's basketball squad overcome Elk Grove by a tally of 70-58.
With the victory, Sandburg improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL) to confront the Raiders in a SouthWest Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, December 8. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Bolingbrook lost 77-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL)
Next up, the Grenadiers confront the Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Elk Grove will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 54-47 non-league win over Libertyville (Libertyville, IL).
