The Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA) basketball nipped the host South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA), 52-46 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Vikings (3-0) will now prepare for their test against New Brighton (New Brighton, PA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, New Brighton was tipped by Carlynton (Carnegie, PA), 46-43, in a non-league test.
The Rams now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Brentwood for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 6. South Side will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 59-22 non-league loss to Beaver (Beaver, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.
