Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kemp Yellowjackets (Kemp, TX), 57-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Peaster upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Rusk (Rusk, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-6. Rusk lost 71-66 in their recent non-league bout against Kemp (Kemp, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Liberty Christian Warriors (Argyle, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Kemp will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 89-78 non-league loss to Houston Christian (Houston, TX).
