Nevada High School Basketball - Virginia City tipped by Lassen

The Lassen Grizzlies basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Virginia City Muckers to 54 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shasta for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Lassen will meet a Wolves team coming off a 59-47 non-league loss to Fortuna (Fortuna, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 1-4.

The Muckers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Battle Mountain nudged Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV), 61-45, in a non-league contest.
