The Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) basketball knocked off the visiting Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC), 70-59 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Spring Valley (Columbia, SC). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Spring Valley notched a victory over Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC), 82-55, in a non-league test.
The Diamond Hornets now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Fairfield Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Lower Richland will encounter a Griffins squad coming off a 66-54 non-league loss to North (North, SC). The Griffins record now stands at 0-3.
