The Monticello Sages basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Marshall Lions to 43 in the Sages non-league triumph on Saturday.
In their next game, the Sages meet the Williamsville Bullets (Williamsville, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 5. Monticello will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Bullets enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 59-50 non-league win over Meridian (Macon, IL).
With the defeat, Marshall moves to 2-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL) to meet the Rockets in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 5. The Rockets enter the match with a record of 3-0. Tolono Unity won 60-52 in their recent non-league match against Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL)
