Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA), 75-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Providence upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Serra (Gardena, CA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Monsoons play the Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Mayfair will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 62-41 non-league loss to Pacifica Christian/Orange County (Newport Beach, CA).
