Mayfield Panthers (Mayfield, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Middleburgh Knights (Middleburgh, NY), 54-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mayfield upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Panthers host Saratoga Central Catholic (Saratoga Springs, NY) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Saratoga Central Catholic won 59-55 in their recent league bout against Hoosick Falls (Hoosick Falls, NY)
