Nebraska High School Basketball - Southwest ripped by Maywood/Hayes Center

The Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Southwest Roughriders to 36 in the Wolves league triumph on Saturday.

The Wolves now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decatur Community for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Maywood/Hayes Center will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 42-35 non-league loss to Rawlins County (Atwood, KS). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-1.

The Roughriders (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Hitchcock County was routed by Cambridge (Cambridge, NE), 62-57, in a league contest.
