The Woodlawn Bears basketball team (Rison, AR), was nudged 65-60 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Murfreesboro Rattlers (Murfreesboro, AR)
The Rattlers now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Acorn for a 2A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, December 5. Murfreesboro will battle a Tigers team coming off a 52-47 non-league loss to Booneville (Booneville, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 5-7.
The Bears (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hermitage (Hermitage, AR). The Hermits come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Hermitage edged Taylor (Taylor, AR), 61-54, in a non-league battle.
