Newton Local Indians (Pleasant Hill, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Yellow Springs Bulldogs (Yellow Springs, OH), 53-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Newton Local upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Miami Valley (Dayton, OH) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Miami Valley lost 50-48 in their recent non-league bout against Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Tri-County North Panthers (Lewisburg, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Yellow Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 68-54 non-league loss to Middletown Christian (Franklin, OH).
