The St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) basketball crushed the host Oakwood Comets (Fithian, IL), 74-42 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Normal West (Normal, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Normal West was trounced by Richwoods (Peoria, IL), 58-47, in a league test.
The Comets now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they host St. Thomas More for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Oakwood will encounter a Sabers squad coming off a 67-50 non-league loss to Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Sabers record now stands at 3-2.
