Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA), 61-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ouachita Parish upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Bossier (Bossier City, LA) to play the Bearkats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Bearkats go into the bout with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Rams play the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Richwood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 59-55 non-league loss to Carroll (Monroe, LA).
