Texas High School Basketball - South San Antonio West knocked off by Sam Houston

The Sam Houston Texans basketball team scored 62 points and held the host South San Antonio West Cougars to 49 in the Texans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Texans now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mansfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Sam Houston will meet a Tigers team coming off a 75-57 non-league win over Crowley (Crowley, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.

The Cougars (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX). The Buffaloes enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Fox Tech ran past London (Corpus Christi, TX), 61-56, in a non-league contest.
