Sullivan Golden Arrows (Sullivan, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Shakamak Lakers (Jasonville, IN), 62-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sullivan upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Golden Arrows host North Putnam (Roachdale, IN) to play the Cougars in a Western Indiana bout on Friday, December 8. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-0. North Putnam won 50-46 in their recent league bout against Edgewood (Ellettsville, IN)

Next up, the Lakers play the North Knox Warriors (Bicknell, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Shakamak will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 66-46 league loss to South Knox (Vincennes, IN).
