Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Tucker Tigers (Tucker, GA), 63-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westlake upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Riverwood won 81-58 in their recent non-league bout against North Springs (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA) in a AAAAA Region 4 bout, on Friday, December 8. Tucker will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 70-65 non-league loss to Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA).
