The Gordon Longhorns walloped the visiting Jonesboro Eagles football team by a count of 54-8 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Gordon upgrades its record to 14-0 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Westbrook (Westbrook, TX) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 13. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 13-1. Westbrook won 32-16 in their recent non-league outing against Happy (Happy, TX)

With the loss, Jonesboro moves to 12-2 on the season.
