With the victory, Marquez improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to South Gate (South Gate, CA) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. South Gate lost 54-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA)

Next up, the Phantoms confront the Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 5. Cathedral will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
