Hauser Jets (Hope, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN), 44-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hauser upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Lawrenceburg lost 33-28 in their recent league bout against South Dearborn (Aurora, IN)

Next up, the Royals play the Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Eastern Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
