Westlake Christian Academy Eagles (Grayslake, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL), 40-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westlake Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 3. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Vernon Hills won 43-28 in their recent non-league bout against Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Round Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
