The St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) basketball nipped the host Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), 61-57 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Sartans (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Vikings now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Highland for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Valley will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 52-50 non-league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 1-1.
