Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA) and the visiting Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA), saw Armstrong's basketball squad overcome Kiski Area by a tally of 48-32.

With the victory, Armstrong improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The River Hawks host Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Pine-Richland lost 55-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Peters Township (McMurray, PA)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the St. Joseph Spartans (Natrona Heights, PA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 5. Kiski Area will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 61-58 non-league win over North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA).
