    • Ohio High School Basketball - Austintown-Fitch holds off Hathaway Brown

    December 2, 2023: Youngstown, OH 44515

    Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) and the visiting Hathaway Brown Blazers (Shaker Heights, OH), saw Austintown-Fitch's basketball squad hold off Hathaway Brown by a tally of 36-32.

    With the victory, Austintown-Fitch improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Walsh Jesuit won 71-53 in their recent league challenge against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH)

    Next up, the Blazers confront the Laurel Gators (Shaker Heights, OH) in a Independent School challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Hathaway Brown will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 59-50 non-league win over Harvest Prep (Canal Winchester, OH).
