Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) and the host Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA), saw Marion Center's basketball squad hold off Bishop Carroll by a count of 46-42.

With the victory, Marion Center upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Stingers host Portage (Portage, PA) to play the Mustangs in a Heritage challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Portage won 58-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA)

Next up, the Huskies play the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Bishop Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
