Bishop Diego Cardinals (Santa Barbara, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA), 47-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bishop Diego upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Dunn (Los Olivos, CA) to play the Earwigs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Earwigs come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Dunn lost 62-12 in their recent non-league bout against Valley Christian Academy (Santa Maria, CA)

Next up, the Spirits play the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) in a Santa Fe bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Paraclete will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
