South Carolina High School Basketball - Memorial Day nips Bridges Prep

December 2, 2023: Beaufort, SC

Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bridges Prep Buccaneers (Beaufort, SC), 39-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Memorial Day upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Matadors host Thomas Heyward Academy (Ridgeland, SC) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Thomas Heyward Academy lost 45-32 in their recent non-league bout against Coastal HomeSchool (Pembroke, GA)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Beaufort Academy Eagles (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Bridges Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
