The Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Caney Creek Panthers to 37 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Saturday.
The Longhorns now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Creek for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Hamshire-Fannett will battle a Lions team coming off a 56-48 non-league loss to Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Lions record now stands at 8-5.
The Panthers (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Alief Hastings (Houston, TX). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Alief Hastings was defeated by Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX), 60-42, in a non-league contest.
