Notre Dame Spirits (Salinas, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Carmel Padres (Carmel, CA), 41-16 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Notre Dame upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Spirits host Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Trailblazers come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Rancho San Juan won 40-36 in their recent non-league bout against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA)

Next up, the Padres play the St. Francis Sharks (Watsonville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Sharks come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 62-57 non-league win over San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA).
