Texas High School Basketball - Waco can't hold off Centennial

The Centennial Spartans basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Waco Lions to 42 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midlothian Heritage for a 5A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, December 5. Centennial will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 42-33 non-league loss to Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-5.
The Lions (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region III District 22 contest with a 6-6 record.
