The Columbia Academy Cougars (Columbia, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Wayne Academy Jaguars (Waynesboro, MS), 53-19 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Christian Collegiate Academy (Gulfport, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Christian Collegiate Academy was trounced by Sumrall (Sumrall, MS), 57-38, in a non-league test.

The Jaguars now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lamar for a MAIS 5A District 2 test on Tuesday, December 5. Wayne Academy will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 47-34 non-league loss to Brookhaven Academy (Brookhaven, MS). The Raiders record now stands at 4-6.
