Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Coram Deo Academy Lions (Plano, TX), 53-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pilot Point upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Bearcats host Whitewright (Whitewright, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Whitewright won 42-22 in their recent non-league bout against Ector (Ector, TX)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Lake Country Christian Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Coram Deo Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 53-43 non-league win over Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX).
