Washington High School Basketball - Mead thwarts Davis

The Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA), 65-55 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Central Valley went down by Camas (Camas, WA), 58-26, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chiawana for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Davis will encounter a Riverhawks squad coming off a 67-63 non-league win over Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA). The Riverhawks record now stands at 2-0.
