Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA), 64-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southern Lab upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Kittens travel to Opelousas (Opelousas, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Opelousas won 59-39 in their recent non-league bout against Marksville (Marksville, LA)

Next up, the Patriots play the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Franklin Parish will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 48-40 non-league win over Richwood (Monroe, LA).
