Jacksonville Fightin' Indians (Jacksonville, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Gladewater Bears (Gladewater, TX), 43-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jacksonville upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Fightin' Indians travel to Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Chapel Hill won 53-10 in their recent non-league bout against Beckville (Beckville, TX)

Next up, the Bears play the Brownsboro Bears (Brownsboro, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Gladewater will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 31-18 non-league win over Longview (Longview, TX).
