Gowanda Panthers (Gowanda, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting The Park School of Buffalo Pioneers (Buffalo, NY), 43-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Gowanda upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers host Jamestown (Jamestown, NY) to clash with the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Pioneers clash with the North Collins Eagles (North Collins, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. The Park School of Buffalo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
