With the victory, Waimea improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Menehunes host Kapa'a (Kapa'a, HI) to play the Warriors in a Kauai challenge on Monday, December 11. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Kapa'a won 70-26 in their recent league challenge against Kauai (Lihue, HI)

Next up, the Ka Makani play the Waiakea Warriors (Hilo, HI) in a Big Island challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Hawaii Prep will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 65-12 non-league win over Pahoa (Pahoa, HI).
