Horizon Christian (Hood River, OR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Willamette Valley Christian Warriors (Brooks, OR), 38-14 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Horizon Christian upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The travel to Open Door Christian Academy (Troutdale, OR) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Open Door Christian Academy lost 50-29 in their recent non-league bout against Santiam (Mill City, OR)

Next up, the Warriors play the Crosshill Christian Eagles (Turner, OR) in a 1A Casco bout, on Thursday, December 7. Willamette Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
