In Saturday's non-league match, the host Jackson Polar Bears basketball team scored a good 44-34 triumph over the Smithville Smithies.
In their next game, the Polar Bears meet the McKinley Bulldogs (Canton, OH) in a Federal match, on Wednesday, December 6. Jackson will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
