In Saturday's non-league outing, the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) basketball squad nipped the visiting Tri County Trojans (DeWitt, NE), by a margin of 38-35.
The Thunderbirds (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Southern (Wymore, NE). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Southern was tipped by Palmyra (Palmyra, NE), 47-6, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Southern for a C2 District 2 outing on Friday, December 8.
