Mississippi High School Basketball - Wheeler can't hold off Kossuth

The Kossuth Aggies basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Wheeler Eagles to 41 in the Aggies non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Aggies now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Site for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Kossuth will battle a Royals team coming off a 57-25 non-league win over Thrasher (Booneville, MS). The Royals record now stands at 5-2.

The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tremont (Tremont, MS). The Eagles enter the 1A Region 1 contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Tremont nudged Smithville (Smithville, MS), 39-22, in a non-league contest.
