The Mt. Gilead Indians basketball team (Mt. Gilead, OH), was overwhelmed 61-25 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Loudonville Redbirds (Loudonville, OH)

The Redbirds now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashland for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. Loudonville will battle a Arrows team coming off a 48-45 league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH). The Arrows record now stands at 1-3.

The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Danville (Danville, OH). The Blue Devils come into the Knox Morrow battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Danville trounced Hayes (Delaware, OH), 64-60, in a non-league battle.
