The Westhope/Newburg Sioux basketball team (Westhope, ND), was routed 55-28 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots (Mayville, ND)

The Patriots now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midway/Minto for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 7. Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 61-32 non-league win over Warwick (Warwick, ND). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.

The Sioux (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Tioga (Tioga, ND). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record.
