The Western Wayne Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Mountain View Eagles to 25 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Scranton for a non-league match on Saturday, January 6.

With the defeat, Mountain View moves to 0-2 on the year. The Eagles host Lakeland (Jermyn, PA) to meet the Chiefs in a non-league match on Monday, December 4. The Chiefs enter the match with a record of 0-1. Lakeland lost 61-31 in their recent non-league match against Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA)
